Bill's Automation Revelation
In 1990s, the process of booking travel tour vacations had not yet fully transitioned from telephone reservation systems, to state-of-the-art automated online reservation platforms. Many travel agents were accustomed to reserving by telephone, and may have had false impressions about how difficult it would be to learn an automated online reservation system.

To educate travel agents, Globus and American Express partnered to produce Bill's Automation Revelation. In comedic style, the video compares the operations of two fictitious travel agencies: "Bill's Travel," where travel agent Bill attempts to book prospective travelers' tour via telephone; and a competing, modern agency, where travel agent Dorothy efficiently books her travelers' tour using a new automated online reservation platform.

The exaggerated tone and comedy is meant to be understood by travel agent audiences who have experienced the situations depicted.

The location video crew for this project included Robert LoScalzo (script, camera and editor) and Frank Coraci (script, director and editor).
