Crazy Joe / 911 Jeans
Before his feature film career, Adam Sandler was a stand-up comedian and a sketch writer at Saturday Night Live who wanted to become an on-air SNL cast member.

To generate interest, Sandler produced this Crazy Joe / 911 Jeans short, drawing inspiration from the personality quirks of the notorious cult leader, Charles Manson. The video's rapid editing and blue tones parody the Levi's Button-Fly Jeans television commercials that were popular during the 1990s.

The location production crew for this project included Robert LoScalzo (camera), Frank Coraci (director), Tom Lewis (assistant director) and Martin Zdzinsky (camera assistant). The version of Crazy Joe / 911 Jeans seen here was edited by LoScalzo. Coraci would later direct Sandler in The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, and several other well-known films.
