The International Trademark Association and the CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution commissioned LoScalzo Media Design LLC to produce a video DVD documenting an attempt to resolve a fictitious, complex international business dispute through mediation. The parties in dispute are a Russian distillery and an American manufacturer and distributor of alcoholic beverages. The mediation addresses allegations of unfair trade practices, trademark and trade dress infringements, and bad faith pirating. The video is hosted by the late Michael Leathes, "a towering figure in the global mediation community," and features appearances by an actual INTA mediator and INTA members as attorneys representing the parties. The video premiered at INTA's 125th Anniversary Annual Meeting in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, is available from CPR on DVD, and is considered a classic in intellectual property video education.
