St. John Enterprises, a general contractor, commissioned LoScalzo Media Design LLC to document its renovation of a pier at the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard over the course of several years. The renovation transforms the pier from a previously unsafe and unusable location, to a site ready for new development. The video features snippets of spontaneous, unscripted interviews with St. John employees, and B-Roll videorecorded during key junctures of their work. The video seen here is a brief sample edited for St. John, with a longer documentary version possible in the future.
